I was on a particularly difficult business trip and had just knelt to pray. Suddenly, I felt the presence of the Lord, the “weight of glory” pressing down on me. I was scarcely able to breathe. His presence was like a current of electrified warm honey running through me.

I am living proof that God is real. My life is a testimony to His goodness, patience, and power. He freed me from addiction to alcohol and tobacco that had me bound for more than twenty years. I call it my one-step program: from my seat to my knees. He freed me without cravings or any withdrawal symptoms. It was as if I had never started: fresh, clean, free.

Four times in the last five years, the Lord has given me this word: “All things concerning you are in My hands.” I needed to hear it more than once until I finally got it! And it is only recently that I have begun to understand its full import. This encouragement and blessing is not only for me, it’s for you, too. It is a freshly spoken Word of God (rhema) and is for all of us.

Linda and her family of five—mother, father, and three kids—were all arrested for the manufacturing and distribution of crystal meth.
